The short answers
Before you share.
Do I have to be a Tonet customer?
No. Anyone can be a partner, and it's free. Already on Tonet? Every login already has a link: open Refer & earn. New? Create a login (Google or Microsoft works) and you'll land on your link.
I use Tonet at work. Who gets paid?
You do. Your link and your rewards belong to you, not to the account you use. Only you can see your Refer & earn page, and partner emails can go to a personal address.
What does the business get?
$10 of Tonet credit, added when their first top-up clears, on top of everything Tonet already includes.
What counts as a referral?
A new Tonet account created within 90 days of opening your link, or with your partner code typed at signup. If someone opens more than one partner's link, the most recent one counts.
What doesn't count?
Accounts you own or pay for yourself, businesses that already use Tonet, and credits, refunds or chargebacks. Accounts closed for fraud or abuse don't earn either.
When do I get paid?
Credit is added to your balance the day the payment clears. Cash is held 45 days, then paid in the next monthly payout, once you have $25 ready; smaller amounts carry over. Account credit has no minimum.
Can I see what I've earned?
Yes. Refer & earn shows how many people opened your link, who signed up, which accounts are paying, and your rewards on hold, ready to pay and paid.
A business signed up without my link. Can I still claim it?
Yes. Contact us within 7 days of their signup and we'll credit them to you. After that, the account stays unreferred.
Can I change my code?
Yes, until your link is first used. After that it stays the same, so links you've already shared keep working.
What if I change jobs?
You keep earning on the businesses you referred. Payouts go to the details you saved, and we write to the email you chose. If you lose access to your login, contact us and we'll move your partner account to a new one.
What about taxes?
Rewards are income. You're responsible for any taxes on them where you live.
The fine print
Partner program terms
Version of 29 September 2026.
- Rewards. When an account you referred makes its first card payment, you earn $10 and the account gets $10 of Tonet credit. You also earn 10% of each card payment it makes to Tonet, for as long as it stays a paying Tonet customer. Credits, promotions, refunds and chargebacks don't earn rewards.
- Who can take part. Anyone with a Tonet login, whether or not they pay for Tonet. Your link and your rewards belong to you as a person, not to the account you use.
- Referrals. A referral is a new Tonet account created within 90 days of opening your partner link, or with your partner code entered at signup. If someone opens more than one partner's link, the most recent one counts, and a code entered at signup counts over any link. If a business signs up without your link or code, you can claim it by contacting Tonet support within 7 days of its signup.
- What doesn't count. Accounts you own, create for yourself or pay for; businesses that are already Tonet customers; and accounts closed for fraud or abuse.
- Hold and payouts. Tonet account credit is added to your balance the day the payment clears, in any amount, for accounts you manage. Cash is held for 45 days after its payment, then paid in the next monthly payout, by PayPal, Wise or GCash, once at least $25 is ready; smaller amounts carry over. If a payment is refunded or charged back, its rewards, including the $10, are removed, or come off your next payouts if they were already paid.
- Currency. Rewards are earned in US dollars. If your payout account uses another currency, the amount is converted on the day we send it.
- Checks. We review each partner once before their first cash payout, and may ask you to confirm who you are and where to send your rewards.
- Promoting Tonet. Be honest about what Tonet does and costs. No spam, no fake reviews, no ads that bid on the Tonet name, and don't present yourself as Tonet.
- Taxes. You're responsible for any taxes on your rewards.
- Changes. We may change or end the program with 30 days' notice on this page. Rewards already earned are paid under the terms in place when they were earned. We may remove a partner who breaks these terms, and rewards earned by breaking them aren't paid.
