PRIVACY POLICY FOR TONET
Welcome to Tonet! Our service is committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring you have a positive experience on our website and in using our services. This Privacy Policy outlines our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information we receive from users of Tonet.
Collection of Personal Information
What We Collect:
- When you sign up for our service, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and address.
Purpose of Collection:
- We use your phone number to send text messages in response to support and help requests received via text and occasional informational messages about your account.
- We use your name and address for billing statements, and your email address for account and support communications.
Use of Personal Information:
We use the information you give us to provide Tonet, manage billing, and send service and support communications. We also use information about visits to our sites and completed account actions to measure and improve Tonet advertising, as described under “Advertising and measurement” below. We do not use contacts customers store in Tonet, call or voicemail recordings or transcripts, or message contents for Tonet advertising.
Data Sharing:
Service providers may process information for Tonet services and support. We also share the limited advertising measurement data described below with Reddit. We do not share customers’ stored contacts, callers’ or message recipients’ phone numbers, call or voicemail recordings or transcripts, message contents, or text-messaging opt-in and consent records with Reddit for Tonet advertising. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
Advertising and measurement
We use Rybbit on tonet.ai to understand site visits and interactions without recording sessions. It measures page views, button clicks, outbound links, links between Tonet pages, form interactions, and copied text. Depending on the action, Rybbit may receive the page URL, button or link text, outbound destination, copied text, browser and device details, and similar identifiers. For links between Tonet pages, our added event sends the destination path without the link text, URL parameters, or fragments. Session replay is disabled.
We use Google Analytics 4 across Tonet sites to measure page visits and, on the dashboard, selected navigation and action clicks. Google Analytics can receive the current page URL, browser and device details, and similar identifiers. The added dashboard click events use fixed action names and generic page fields rather than button text, customer contact details, message content, or private link parameters.
We use the Reddit Pixel on tonet.ai and the public login, signup, and password-help pages of dashboard.tonet.ai. It may share the pages you visit, the referring page, page titles and supported page metadata, browser and device information, cookie or similar identifiers, Reddit ad-click identifiers, and the signup events we configure. Reddit’s automatic advanced matching may collect and hash an email address or phone number displayed on or entered into these public pages to match activity with a Reddit account. A hashed identifier can still be used to recognize or match a person.
We do not load the Reddit Pixel on signed-in dashboard pages. For those pages, Tonet may send Reddit a broad page category and completed account top-up events through Reddit’s Conversions API. These server events may include a hashed account email address and account ID, browser user agent, public IP address when available, and a Reddit ad-click identifier if you arrived from a Reddit ad. For a completed top-up, we also send the amount, USD currency, and a hashed transaction identifier used to recognize duplicate events. We do not send Reddit the full private dashboard URL or its query parameters, page title, stored contacts, call information, message contents, or other customer workspace content.
We do not send Reddit Pixel events when your browser signals Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track. When a signed-in browser sends either signal, we record an account-level opt-out from future Reddit server events. You can also contact support@tonet.ai about Reddit advertising measurement or your privacy choices. Reddit handles information it receives under its Privacy Policy. Text-message consent on the Tonet signup form is separate from advertising measurement.
Screen replays to fix problems. On tonet.ai and in the Tonet dashboard, we may keep short replays of what happened on a screen, for example when an error appears, a button is clicked again and again, or a visitor stops partway through signing up, so our team can see and fix the problem. These are not video recordings: they are rebuilt from the changes made to the page, which is why we can blank out sensitive details before anything is sent. On tonet.ai our team may also watch a visit as it happens, to help at the right moment. Replays are recorded and stored by Tonet on our own servers and are not shared with any other company. On tonet.ai and in the sign-up window, before you sign in, our team can see what you type or pick, such as your name, email or the number you choose, so we can help you finish signing up. Passwords, sign-in codes and card details are always replaced with dots before anything leaves your browser. Once you sign in, anything you type or select, and in the dashboard your contacts’ names, phone numbers, messages and account details, are replaced with dots, and pictures in the dashboard are hidden. Replays are kept for 30 days and only our support team can view them. No replay is recorded when your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal.
