Can I work with more than one client?

Yes. Add a number for each client and choose the right one when you call. Contacts and billing are shared within one workspace.

Do I need a US SIM or desk phone?

No. A browser, headset and reliable internet connection are enough.

What do I pay before my first call?

Add funds with your card, then buy a US number. Number purchase is $2.50; maintenance is $2.50 per month. Your user charge is billed daily.
